Supplements

It can be tough getting all the vitamins and minerals you need from food alone. Our soils are depleted. Fruits and vegetables are frozen for weeks at a time and shipped across the world. By the time they reach you, most of their vitamin content is gone.

First and foremost, take supplements to boost your immune system: Protocol for Preventing Respiratory Infections

One of the strongest means of boosting the immune system is a happy, hopeful attitude. People who are worried and depressed are more likely to get sick.

If you have high blood pressure, take Hawthorn Berry extract. To strengthen bones and cartilage, take collagen, Vitamin K2, Vitamin D3, zinc, and magnesium, combined with weight-bearing exercises.

Collagen can be especially helpful for relieving arthritis and joint problems. Here is the brand that I've been using: Multi Collagen Protein Powder

Supplements for increased energy and better exercise performance: Try creatine and beta alanine. You could also look into ginseng.

As we age, inflamation becomes an extremely serious problem. Inflamation can even lead to internal organ scarring, which can be fatal (e.g. pulmonary fibrosis). A powerful supplement for fighting inflamation and even reducing internal scarring is serrapeptase. Check out Dr. William Wong and Zymessence, which is a blend of serrapeptase and other anti-fibrotic enzymes. Dr. Wong explains the proper dosage and the health benefits. (See links below.)

When we are young, we often take our health for granted. Good health is more important than money. When health deteriorates, many or most turn to MDs and their dangerous big pharma drugs. MDs are great for dealing with trauma and broken bones, not so great for addressing chronic conditions. Big pharma drugs often destroy the patient rather than helping. Before turning to big pharma drugs, try the natural route first.

Here are some excellent sources for the natural approach to health:

Living is a pain in the butt. Dying is easy. It's like an athletic event. You've got to train for it. You've got to eat right. You've got to exercise. Your health account, your bank account, they're the same thing. The more you put in, the more you can take out. Exercise is king and nutrition is queen: together, you have a kingdom.

Live life to the fullest for as long as you can!
